The one thing I strive to achieve with my work, regardless of subject matter, is honest representation - an image that is true to the individual or scene in front of my lens. I feel this is never more evident than in my portrait work. I aim to approach every person with fresh eyes, and to capture them in a way that is unique, insightful, genuine, and honest. Through this process, I have learned just as much about each of these individuals as I have about myself.
